Search for an agent for PRC work permits (Partner search) |
Our
client, an international immigration consulting firm, had had an office in Hong
Kong for several years, arranging work visas and residency permits for
employees of multinational companies with Hong Kong offices. It hoped to expand its service to offer its
clients a seamless service, by setting up a relationship with a partner which
could perform similar services for its clients in Mainland China. Sinogie
worked with the client to establish precisely the criteria which a potential
partner would have to meet. We
conducted an initial round of research to establish the criteria which
Chinese companies must meet in order to be allowed to offer visa services,
and worked with the client to establish the additional requirements that the
client had. We then conducted
extensive research, including searches of public databases, press reports,
archives and directories, and narrowed down options for appropriate partners. Through
a combination of publicly-available material and in-depth interviews with
potential partners, we drew up a shortlist of the three companies which best met
our client’s criteria. Our
client has since used this information to develop a partnership with a
Shanghai-based firm. |
